Meet the Team

Roy Warren

Managing Director

Roy studied Environmental and Building Services Engineering at Newcastle University and began his career as a M&E Design engineer. He became M.D. of an M&E company developing it into a multimillion-pound company responsible for all building services incorporated in major Data centres such as London Stock Exchange, Merrill Lynch, City Core etc. 

He left this role to found Sheers as a new ‘adventure’ and has gone on to develop the company into a multimillion-pound operation specialising in provision of all forms of water treatment for the water and industrial sectors. He has developed high standard liquid, and gaseous chemical dosing systems and over the last 30 years has become a recognised expert in the safe handling, dosing and control of toxic gasses (e.g. chlorine, sulphur dioxide and ammonia).

Paul Rogers BEng (Hons) AMIChemE

Director – Business Development and Special Projects

After graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Newcastle University, Paul commenced his career as a Chemical Engineer for a major UK chemical manufacture before moving into various technical support and commercial roles. Paul joined Sheers Ltd in 2009 as Business Development Manager before becoming a director of the company in 2014. In his current position, Paul provides commercial and technical support to all areas of the business.

Andrew Langton BEng (Hons) CEng MIChemE

Technical Director

Andrew graduated from the University of Teesside with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Throughout his career, he has worked across multiple process engineering sectors including; Energy, Iron & Steel and Chemicals at both large and small scale organisations UK and abroad. Andrew joined Sheers Ltd in 2018 as Technical Director and is responsible for the design and product development sectors of the business.  

Trevor Mangles

Commercial & SHEQ Manager

Trevor joined Sheers Ltd in June 2011 after many years of working within the utility sector. Sheers provided the opportunity to enable him to be part of the commercial and business development team to assist in sustainable growth to the company. He has proven to be a reliable, trustworthy and conscientious individual that can be adaptable to new challenges. Trevor also supports the business by improving and implementing the company SHEQ Policies and Procedures.   

Mark Shepperson

Business Development Manager

Mark joined Sheers Ltd in 2019 and brings a wealth of experience, amassed whilst in senior positions, such as Sales Director and General Manager, with other leading companies within the same specialist sector. Mark’s career has spanned a range of industries including Municipal Water & Wastewater treatment and industrial processes during which he has gained an extensive knowledge of modern water and wastewater treatment processes. Mark also brings the experience of establishing and rolling out municipal framework programmes with many of the UK water utilities.

Judith Warren

Company Secretary

Judith studied Business Studies and Marketing at Newcastle University and began her career in Research and Development for WDC. She moved on to Office Management and Accounts duties with an international manufacturing company and reported directly to the Managing Director, attending board meetings discussing product design and marketing strategies and statistics.

Judith joined Sheers in 2001 as Company Secretary. In addition to the ‘typical’ Company Secretary duties, Judith developed the H.R and training procedures for Sheers along with the company accounting practices. She manages and monitors the day to day H.R., training, commercial activities, and accounts.
