APPRENTICE QUALIFICATION – Kieran Dexter

Sheers Ltd are delighted that mature apprentice Kieran Dexter from Redcar has successfully completed an EAL NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering, Pipe Fitting and Assembly.

Kieran joined the company in the summer of 2019 following the setting up of the company’s Mature Apprentice scheme that provides role and skills specific training and development for local people with relatable skills that were previously unable to find employment in their chosen field. Kieran’s a credit to Sheers, he’s always looking to learn new things, asks questions in order to expand his knowledge, has quickly developed the specialist skill of plastic welding and like his colleague Jamie Layfield has become a valued member of the team at Sheers Ltd. 

Despite disruption due to Covid-19 he was able to successfully complete the training in October 2020 and received a £50 gift voucher from the company.
